Return Policy
We are proud to offer one of the best return policies in the online business. You may return your purchase for any reason within 14 days after receiving it for an exchange or a refund of the purchase price excluding the shipping costs and 10% restocking fee. Returns after 14 days are subject to 20% restocking fee. Returns 1 months or more after the purchase date are not acceptable.
Some of our products are offered with FREE SHIPPING, so please be aware that if you return one of these products our actual outbound shipping costs will be deducted from your return refund. In addition some of our items carry a restocking fee which will be deducted from your refund should you wish to make a return.
All returns MUST HAVE return authorization number from www.Hoodfan.ca prior to shipment. Original shipping charges are not refundable.
All returns must be in new condition with original packaging material and must be shipped PREPAID at the customer's expense. All return shipments will be inspected for any damage/missing parts before an exchange can be processed.
No refund/credit will be issued for any damaged/lost return shipments.
In order to process services/replacements/exchanges, customer will be required to provide basic information - Hoodfan.ca's invoice number and/or sales receipt number, date of purchase, proof of payment, and the nature of the problem.
All replacements and exchanges must be approved by the customer service manager.
All returned items must be free from scratches, dents, or any other damages. Customer agrees to be responsible for all shipping and any handling charges for all replacements and exchanges.
Returns from USA- Unless otherwise noted, we accept returns on all orders that ship to USA. All orders fall under our Standard Return Policy. Please note: duties will be refunded, however, all actual shipping costs and brokerage fees are non-refundable.
It is the customer's responsibility to:
1. consult their ventilation specialist prior to purchase in order to assure that the product will fit its intended application, as well as comply with local building codes and City requirements!
2. inspect the unit within 10 days after receiving it for physical damages and to ensure proper functionality of the product.
3. make sure they are ordering the correct size unit before placing the order.
There are no refunds or exchanges on installed or used items!
